Gordon Fudge was born to Elihu and Dorthy (nee Ledrew) Fudge on July 23, 1921. He enlisted as gunner with the 16th Contingent of the Royal Navy (#299594). His service was on board the S.S Balt Rover serving mostly in Russia. After the war he did not return to Triton but married his British War bride, Joan Rowley and raised their 3 children there.
