Ross Walter Winsor was born to Abel and Rosalea (nee Cole) Winsor of Triton on June 19, 1919. While still a young boy his father passed away and he moved to Shearstown, Bay Roberts, NF to be raised by his half sister Alice (Winsor) Henderson. At the age of 21 he enlisted with the British Navy. After the war effort he returned to Newfoundland where he married Rosie Button of Old Perlican. After her passing he married Erma Kipfer of Saskatchwan in 1968. He raised 4 children. He resided in Ontario until his death.   Submitted By: Justine (nee Vincent) Thomas
