The youngsters wake up to their Easter goodies hid away
While Mom got the eggs on boiling to decorate
Prep the turkey and in the oven she goes
A ham AND a turkey sure you knows
Off to church in your absolute best dressed
Give your thanks to God and be blessed
Come back and enjoy the day with your fam
Easter chocolate for dessert we’re to understand
When it’s all over put your feet up and let out a sigh
And reflect on all your Easters gone by
