Bakeapple Sauce

2 cups bakeapples
2 cups water
pinch of salt
sugar, to taste
cornstarch

Boil the bakeapples in water until well done. Strain through tea strainer to remove stones. Boil liquid with a pinch of salt and enough sugar to taste. Thicken with cornstarch. Serve over pudding, cake or pancakes.
