This is our mutt Benji,9 1/2 years, guarding our Christmas tree. He's gotten smart over the last few years for when the tree goes up he always gets a bag of pigs ears and other treats, that he well fight anyone for Christmas morning. As soon as my husband took our fake tree out of its box and stuck it up, Benji placed his butt right under it waiting! I guess he's spoiled rotten, but what can you expect, our sons have long flown the coop so he's our, or mine at least, pacifier. He listens when I am not feeling well or sad, and never answers back!
