Suffering Fools Lightly
Suffering Fools Lightly
When I have little patience
Am I somehow out of line
With folks whom I consider fools
And don’t deserve one wit of my time
Maybe others are more tolerant
And I see this as a sign
Is it that I seek perfection
An unrealistic goal of mine
My intolerance is of my own making
Still I continue to soldier on too
Maybe somewhere there is a use
For my own personal point of view
But most of all I see that now
I have to accept and pay no mind
To the myriad reactions to any situation
As a normal trait of all mankind
