Skinny Dipping
Skinny Dipping
Do you remember
As a young rogue
When skinny dipping
Was quite in vogue
A group of us boys
Would doff all our duds
And plunge in deep waters
To evade all those bugs
Caveys Canyon in Manuels
Was just such a place
So remote and so private
We swam without trace
Over watery bare backs
The eels they did slither
In wanton abandon
Giving us a cold shiver
Diving from rock face
Into waters so deep
Was the fun of our lives
Well remembered in sleep
An when the odd girls group
Showed up so well pumped
The frantic clamour to cover up
Our modesty trumped
Those were the days
Without match there's no doubt
Clear in our minds eye
And oft talked about.
