Olden Years
Olden Years
My darling age is creeping
Upon us now, as we lie sleeping
Together here in this rare air
We find ourselves without a care
As our fading years come to an end
Always looking around the bend
But there's nothing new to find out there
So we return to rocking in our favourite chair
Old friends are passing before our eyes
And we so regret their final demise
But on we soldier with our load to bear
Still functioning here in our living sphere
