Naval Parade, Circa 1942
Naval Parade, circa 1942
This family photo of a naval parade in St. John’s was taken circa 1942. Such parades were common on special occasions during WW II. It could be a naval contingent or a CLB parade. The two children following the parade are dressed warmly, suggesting the photo was taken in the late Fall. If anyone can identify persons or the naval group involved or the specific location of this photo I would appreciate hearing.

John Cornick
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Submitted By: John Cornick
