Lover Mine
Lover Mine
Oh lover mine I understand
You will be with me if you can
When next the moon appears ore head
Unless heaven forbid you are dead
In which case we will join hands above
And there seal our everlasting love
Can I ever hope to meet someone as fair
In that other world way out there
I think not for a miracle it would be
For such a thing to happen to me
But oh how I wish those feelings fine
Would be forever and ever mine
When your sweet face beams down on mine
It holds me spellbound all the time
Why can I not get you out of my mind
Its useless to try I now find
I am truly in your spell
And there forever I must dwell
An imaginative poem to an imagined lover.
