I am looking for anyone that could give me any information (or pictures) of my grandfather, George Thomas Baker, and my grandmother, Alma Baker - daughter of Frances (OR FrancIS) Matthews (OR MATTIS). It is believed my grandfather was of Indian descent. They resided in Lally Cove N.L., now long since resettled. I have done a private search through The Rooms in St. John's, but I am not able to find any information about my grandmother. My grandfather was born October 20, 1897. They had 14 children. They were: Merle, Gerald, Issac, Philip, Cecil, Norman, Francis, Polly, Lovetta, Elsie, Marjorie, Alma, Sarah, and my mother, Evelyn.
