Essence of the NL Soul

The nature of those deep effects
Of NL nature on the souls of it’s own
Is hard to fathom but taken for granted
Whenever we contemplate from whence our home

Look around you at the land,
The sea and sky they are what made you my son
You are reincarnation of the NL scene
And melded together all as one

No distinction between animate and inanimate
One merely a reflection of the other
Until it seems we are one and the same
Created by evolution from Nature’s mother

When thoughts of home well up inside
And feelings deep take hold
They are as one for sure you know
And we are as one with Nature bold

So take pleasure from your surroundings
And never take them for granted as you might
For in them lies the souls of your kindred
Shining brightly as beacons through the NL night
