Cpl. Jason Derry of the RCMP in Baie Verte, NL, had an opportunity to be assigned to police the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver at the Pacific Coliseum, the venue for short track and figure skating.

He brought his February Downhome edition along, which was well "thumbed through" by colleagues and chose to submit this snapshot by the Olympia ice machine. Note the NL flag affixed to the left of Cpl. Derry under the Olympic logo.
