Death’s Impact

Although fond memories now replace
The actual physical living space
So time will work it’s magic parts
To enshrine them ever in our hearts

For what is life but a mere collage
Biologically placed in brain to assuage
Of memories of those gone before
Recalled with love from that finite store

And so, as said, our deeds will trace
Only one story of our place
Only one chance to record for time
So important that the record shine
