Darwin
Could ever there be one so profound
And wise in such a way
As Darwin in those far off days
Who saw plain truth that way
Did species not exist before
He came to show the light
Me thinks it did for eons past
But he has set the record right
His theory has explained it all
And for us now unravelled
Just how we got here from the mire
From that Big Bang from whence we travelled
