Comic Books in 45
Comic Books in 1945

This old photo from a family album shows yours truly in 1945, as a lad of 10 years, enjoying reading a comic book while relaxing with my Dad, Cyril Cornick somewhere outside St Johns. Note the smile; must be interesting reading. Comic books were a common form of entertainment back in those days, but not so much today as they are now collectors items. Back then, comics were routinely exchanged in movie theaters during intermissions.

John Cornick
Halifax, Nova Scotia Submitted By: John Cornick
