Brigus Schooners
Brigus Schooners
This photo taken in the early 1900s shows schooners moored at the community wharf in the town of Brigus, my ancestral home. This was a common sight in those days when practically every community had vessels prosecuting the Labrador Fishery. Family vessels then were almost as common as family vehicles are today. How times have changed.
