Brigus Gullies in 1955
Brigus Gullies in 1955 In the early 1900s my Smith ancestors owned a fleet of fishing schooners and a merchant business in the town of Brigus. They owned a summer property ( The Farm) at Brigus Gullies, a short distance from the town. This photo, taken in 1955 shows the view from a height on The Farm looking towards Brigus on the coast. Our summer home is seen in the distance at the end of the gully. My family owned a property on these gullies until the 1980s, and I remember spending many enjoyable hours as a young lad fly fishing in that gully.
