Dear Ron, This is a picture of my grandmother Lily King of Middle Arm, NL. She turned 85 in June 2008. As a belated birthday gift she requested to take a trip back to her place of birth, which was to the now abandoned community of Southern Arm. Lily was born to Andrew Webber and Bessie Milley and was raised out on the point along with seven siblings. Although it was too windy to be taken out to the point by boat on the day of her visit, she still enjoyed dipping her feet in the water along the shore, which I'm sure she did as a child.
