Anglican Cathedral Connection With Halifax, NS
Anglican Cathedral Connection with Halifax, NS

According to the The Registered Heritage Structures website the original builder of the Anglican Cathedral in St. John's was the prominent builder William Hay of Edinburgh. There is a connection with Halifax, NS, as that that builder also was responsible for building some well known structures in Halifax around that time, namely the Halifax Club, Alexander Keith residence and the Provincial Building, which are all still standing. Being born in St. John's but now a resident of Halifax, I found this most interesting.

John Cornick
Halifax, Nova Scotia Submitted By: John Cornick
