Dear Downhome,

It is with great pride and joy that I attach a picture of my daughter-in-law, Lisa Andersen Jones of PCSP (right) sporting the Downhome magazine.
Lisa, as well as her two close friends Lyna Naseri (left), and Erin Mayo (middle), completed the gruelling 2025 Ironman 70.3 Oceanside California USA race on April 6th.
The Oceanside race was won by 2 Canadian pro-triathletes Paula Findlay and Lionel Saunders. The 3 friends met through the Rock Racing Triathon Club in St. John’s.
Both Lisa and Erin are heading to the Ironman WORLD Championships in Kona, Hawaii in October 2025. The next 2 pictures are taken upon their return to St. John’s on April 8th when I met them at the airport.
Some AMAZING Newfoundland Ladies.

As a side note… I moved to NL from PEI last year, but have been reading the Downhome magazine for the last 10 plus years and enjoy it immensely. Through this great magazine I ‘knew’ NL long before I moved here.
