Here is an old family photo of a ceremonial arch in St. John’s built in honour of the visit of King George V1 and Queen Elizabeth to this city in 1939. This visit was part of a Tour of Canada from may 17 to June 15, 1939, which included every province of Canada as well as the Dominion of Newfoundland
