Salt Pork Buns

4 cups flour
1/3 lb salt pork cup in fine cubes
4 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup lukewarm water (or enough to make tea buns consistently)

1 cup lukewarm water (or enough to make tea buns consistently)
Sift flour and baking powder in mixing bowl. Cut pork in fine cubes, rinse in warm water and partially fry in pan. Cool pork a little; pour pork, and fat driven from it, in a hollow made in flour. Add lukewarm water, and mix by hand to risen tea bun mixture. Make into buns and bake about 1/2 hour or until golden brown.
