Jamaican Pork

1 1⁄2 lbs pork, cubed
1⁄3 cup ketchup
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp vinegar
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1-2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1 can pineapple tidbits (incl. juice)
dash pepper
1 green pepper, cut into chunks
1⁄3 cup water
1⁄3 cup ketchup
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp vinegar
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1-2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1 can pineapple tidbits (incl. juice)
dash pepper
1 green pepper, cut into chunks
1⁄3 cup water
Brown pork in oil. Add next 8 ingredients, then add drained pineapple juice
and cornstarch mixed with a small amount of water (to make paste). Cook until thickened (simmer approx. 1 hour). Add pineapple tidbits and green pepper, then cook until tender (5-10 min.). Serve over rice.
