Cranberry Port Sauce

Difficulty: easy Prep Time: Five Minutes Total Time: 30 Minutes or Less
1 1/2 cups ruby port
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 tsp grated lemon rind
Pinch ground cloves
1 lb cranberries (about 4 cups)

In large heavy saucepan, combine port, sugar, lemon rind and cloves. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Add cranberries; bring to a boil. Continue boiling, stirring constantly, for 5-8 min. or until berry skins pop. Remove from heat; let cool. Refrig-erate, covered, for up to 1 week.
