Corn Chowder

5 slices of bacon
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
2 large potatoes (peeled and cubed)
4 cups milk
3/4 cup kernel corn
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce

Fry bacon in a large saucepan, just until it begins to brown. Add onions, celery and potato. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until onions are soft. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and heat, but do not boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir often.
