Cheese Sauce

Difficulty: easy Prep Time: Five Minutes Total Time: 30 Minutes or Less
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Mustard (optional)

Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk a little at a time, stirring continuously. Then add shredded cheddar cheese into the white sauce, and a little mustard if desired. Continue cooking over medium heat for 15 minutes. Serve over cooked broccoli, cauliflower or other vegetables.
