Bakeapple Sauce

2 cups bakeapples
2 cups water
pinch of salt
sugar to taste
2 tsp (approx.) cornstarch

Boil the bakeapples in water until well done. Strain through tea strainer
to remove stones. Boil liquid with a pinch of salt and enough sugar to
taste. Thicken with cornstarch. Serve warm over pudding, cake, ice cream or pancakes.
