Small Town Dreamer
Small Town Dreamer
She never spoke about the hard times, the days she thought to lay in bed... She never spoke about her dreams, those thoughts she'd often truly dread...
She never thought she'd live the life, of all the dreams deep in her mind... She always took each day and hour, with all the joy that she could find...
She often wished for more excitement, far from the life she thought as dull... She just lived her life not saying, that her heart never felt quite full...
She thought to leave home for the city, but in fear she held her ground... She always knew the only life for her, was living here in this small town...
She lived her life those many years, with that same dream every day... She took each day as it came around, not letting dreams get in life's way...
In those days before her final rest, now she just wished for so much more... More time to spend with the life she had, she finally wished for nothing more...
