Sangria

Total Time: 30 Minutes or Less
1 (750 ml) bottle of dry red wine
1 cup brandy
3/4 cup orange juice, fresh squeezed & strained
1/2 cup lemon juice, fresh squeezed & strained
1/4 cup lime juice, fresh squeezed & strained
1 orange, lemon and lime, each sliced thinly
1 Granny Smith apple, cubed
Simple syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1 cup brandy
3/4 cup orange juice, fresh squeezed & strained
1/2 cup lemon juice, fresh squeezed & strained
1/4 cup lime juice, fresh squeezed & strained
1 orange, lemon and lime, each sliced thinly
1 Granny Smith apple, cubed
Simple syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
To make the simple syrup, mix together the sugar and water, and bring to a boil. Allow it to boil for 1 minute, then set aside to cool. Then mix together the wine, brandy and juices. Add the fruit. Add 1/2 cup of the syrup (or more to taste). Refrigerate at least 4-6 hours for the flavours to develop. Serve cold. Yield: approx. 6 cups
