Cheddar Bacon Scalloped Potatoes
1/2 cup flour
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
dried or fresh chives
2 cups of milk
1 tbsp beef stock
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
3-4 tbsp real bacon bits
Preheat oven to 375F. Peel and slice potatoes thin. Layer 1/3 of potatoes in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Completely cover bottom of dish with potatoes. Sprinkle potatoes with flour, onion and garlic powder and a pinch of chives. Begin another layer of potaotes and repeat with flour, onion, garlic and chives. When the last layer of potatoes is done take your milk and put in a jar or container with lid. Add chicken or beef stock (This will depend on what meat your serving with potatoes) Shake very well and pour over your potatoes until just slightly covered with liquid. Cover with tinfoil and bake for 35-40 minutes. When potatoes are finished baking, remove from oven and spread cheese and bacon on top and place back in oven until cheese is melted. Remove and serve.
