I took this photo in May 2013 in Gananoque,ON at the Newfoundland Dog Club of Canada(NDCC)50th Anniversary National specialty show, where Zoe and other rescued Newfoundland dogs like her were honoured at the show. Each dog was adorned with their own Newfoundland Tartan and a NDCC Rosette Ribbon. Then they all were paraded around the show ring. This is the first time ever the NDCC has done this, and it was well appreciated by everyone who attended. These dogs were all rescued and rehomed by the kind and caring people of "Newf Friends" A network of volunteers, working together to help Newfoundland Dogs in need in Ontario, Canada. It is really nice to see how happy and well adjusted these dogs are considering the challenges some of them have faced prior to "Newf Friends" & being adopted by their wonderful new owners. I hope to see all these beautiful dogs again at the 2014 "NewfStock", a biannual fundraising event put on by "Newf Friends" held in Bancroft, Ontario.
