I just have to share this little story. Children are so innocent about what comes out of their little mouths.
One bright and sunny Sunday last fall, my son and his young family came over for dinner. We also invite our recently-widowed 82-year-old neighbour, Dorothy. During the meal, I happened to look over at my five-year-old grandson, Lucas. Normally rambunctious, he was sitting quietly and staring intently at Dorothy. You could just see the wheels turning in his little head. Oh, oh, something was coming. What was he going to say? Lo and behold, he finally blurted out, "Nanny, why do you have all those cracks in your face?" Well, we all had a good laugh, including Dorothy. However, my son was quite embarrassed as he proceeded to explain that this phenomenon tends to happen when we grow old.   Submitted By: NULL
