This is my 22-month-old son, David, on a visit to Pinchgut Lake, Newfoundland from Barrie, Ontario. It was taken July 8, 2006. To me, David signifies so much about Newfoundland. He shows us that the future of our fair and beautiful province lies in the hands of the young, and that just because he may not live there now, doesn't mean that he will ever forget or turn away from where he came from.
