Wright, Albert George – Greenspond
I am enclosing a picture of my father Albert George Wright of Greenspond who served in the Merchant Marines during the Second World War. This picture was taken the same time he enlisted for the war. One thing I must say, my father earned five medals while he served overseas. A special medal was for crossing over the Red Sea. Each of his four children are so proud to be the owners of their medals and treasure them. Thanks Dad and thanks to everyone who faught for their country to give us the freedom we enjoy today. May you rest in the peace you deserve. Submitted by my daughter, Mary.
