A place apart, that’s worth a shot,
Where the pitcher-plant is got,
And sea-birds soar o’er ocean’s roar,
It’s worth the cash, to book a slot.

A whale-of-a-time is guaranteed,
For those intent on quelling speed;
Among the rocks, one can get lost,
In nature’s nest, at moderate cost.

You’ll find your tickets here, galore,
In rare, good-humor, on our shore;
Our culture thrives on being nice,
And you won’t have to ask us twice.

So, come aboard and make your peace,
Just lay low or take a lease;
Even stay, if you’re impressed,
And wander in our wilderness.

Or hike a trail along the cliffs,
Unique to sight, or sound, and whiffs;
Have a scoff upon a beach,
Or climb a mountain, out of reach.

Adventure is the way to go,
In summer or, indeed, in snow;
Several seasons grace our isle,
So you will need to stay awhile.

To savour all that’s sheltered here,
Or in the blinding gusts, laid bare;
Prepare yourself for what it brings,
At moment’s notice, as it springs.

Weather-worriers needn’t come,
As disappointment looms, for some;
But those who roll with punch-not-spared,
Will have a time that’s not compared!
