Working For Peanuts – Literally
To the Downhome:
I am writing you a note to let you know about our trip in Japan. We had a wonderful trip - covered most of the country. We saw lots of things and visited everywhere. We dug peanuts, went to the volcano, the deer park and the monkey park. We visited the big Buddha, visited four shrines and four museums. I ate a lot of raw fish: mackerel, squid, salmon, halibut, oyster, hake caviar and sushi. We went to the rice fields, and took train rides through the country. We never had beds to sleep on, only a straw mat, a comforter on the floor and a comforter to cover up in.
We saw lots of exotic animals, and drank lots of green tea. We had dinner down on a floating wharf on the dock. We shopped around; there are lots of malls to shop in.
