A picture taken from the ferry - when we were going over, and nearly across to Norris Point. You are looking at Woody Point, and the high hills behind. You can see the sea was really calm, but there sure was a nip in the really clear, sharp, healthy, frosty air that greeted me when I stood on the end of the ferry and took this picture after getting out of a nice warm car. It went through me twice! A photo we came across that depicts an adventure my grandparents - P.G. & Nellie Tipping - went on with Alex & Lillian Myrden (all from Corner Brook) in Nov. 1964. After deciphering the scribble "Pop" Tipping wrote on the back of the photo, I find the ferry quite interesting. The ferry is at Woody Point and Norris Point. Picture taken by P.G.
