Winter’s Icy Grip
Can't feel my feet, my arse is froze
and crimson is my runny nose!
The biting breeze is burning my cheeks
my eyes have sprung eternal leaks!
The sun is elusive, the wind is wild
snow banks to the rooftops piled!
A blanket of ice with a dusting of snow
keeps me dancing wherever I go!
My windshield is a work of art
frost so thick don't know where to start!
The roads are narrow and really bumpy
and all the drivers are really grumpy!
I've had enough of winter's fun
but sadly winter's just begun
Guess I'll button my coat and my lip
while I'm caught in winter's icy grip!
