Windy Day
My wife and I took this photo on a very windy day during our trip to Newfoundland in April 2006. The picture was taken at Big Pond in the Wreckhouse area outside Port aux Basques while we were on our way to Burgeo. We were in Newfoundland to visit family. In all of our trips back home, I believe that this one was truly the most wind that we have ever seen for the longest period. It blew when we arrived....It blew all while we were there ( 7 days)... and it blew when we left......When we took the photo the wind was gusting to over 100km per hour and the spray coming off the pond was like drifting snow.
