Wind-beaten
This little old wind-beaten tree is still good for something. Taken in Black Duck Cove where you would get the ferry to go across to Indian Cove, New World Island, in July 2010. A long time ago we could drive to Gander and to Eastport to see my mom and dad. We drove over the salt water ice a few times before the ferry and went to Eastport. My first trip to Twillingate was 1956 when we left Gander and we took the salt water ice in Campbellton and a couple days after we got on the mail plane on the pond in Twillingate and came to Gander.
