Wild Rabbits
Here's a picture of one of two wild rabbits. They are just days old in this shot. I got them off a man's lawn last June. The man called me and asked about the little rabbits and I told him to leave them and the mother would return. Three days after they were still there. We think the mother got killed by a car. It was raining and cold on the third day so I wnet and got them expecting them to die from stress. I decided to try and raise them anyway so I picked up a nursing bottle and some milk at the local vet clinic. I raise those little rabbits and kept them all winter. They were too young to release last year, but this year they were fully grow so in the spring I released them. When I'm in the backyard I still look to see if I meght see them around. These photos were taken on June 26, 2005, by Elain Cluett at her home in Frenchman's Cove. Submitted By: NULL
