Taken 1941. Five O'Leary sisters of Torbay Rd. Shown is U.S. Army Private Jim Leonard, who arrived in St. John's on the troopship Edmund B. Alexander in 1941, relaxing with the five O'Leary sisters in a meadow on their farm on Torbay Road. Jim married Jill (left in the picture) in 1942. The other sisters (L - R) are Margaret (Mrs. Raymond Kenny), Catherine, Ann and Frances (Mrs. Richard Buckley). All are now deceased except Margaret & Frances, both living in St. John's with their husbands. Submitted By: NULL
