Which Part Is the Area Code?
A funny story about my grandson, Aaron. As I am retired, I often take my four-year-old grandson Aaron for a ride in the car, and we enjoy an ice cream now and then. As he is not attending school yet, I encourage him to spell the letters and read the numbers on signs, etc. along the way as a learning experience. One day, I decided to take him to visit his grandmother's grave site. When we arrived, I again asked him to read the letters on the headstone, which he did. The numbers at the bottom of the stone showed the date of her birth and death. He read the numbers correctly, and paused, not knowing what they stood for, looked up at me and declared, "That's her phone number, isn't it, Pop?" Submitted By: NULL
