Where the Traveller Goes!
A few years ago I was working in Airport Security at the airport in St. John’s. This little yarn was told to me. Though funny,I am not sure of the validly of it.
A frequent flyer had lost her suitcase and she was not happy with the airline. She went to the baggage area desk to file a complaint. It went something like this:
“If you can fly a plane from Toronto to St. John’s at 500 miles per hour and land in the thick of fog in Torbay, you can darn well find my luggage!”
I wonder if she knew that the pilots who fly the plane are not the same people who load the baggage. Those are the baggage handlers. Fine hardworking people they are.
Mayo Angelou said, “We are more alike than we are unalike, my friends.”
