My sister Kitty, who lives in Come By Chance, NL, happens to be an excellent baker. While staying at our summer home in Arnolds Cove last summer, I asked her what was her secret. She told me she always uses a flour sifter and sifts her ingredients three times. Thinking that was simple, I decided to purchase a flour sifter. While shopping at the Foodland in Arnolds Cove, I asked this dear little cashier if they carried a flour sifter. Her reply was, "I don't think so, I don't even know what that is.
