In the fall of 2010 Gary and I got engaged. I decided I wanted to make our wedding cake. I knew nothing about cake decorating and set out to learn. I covered my first fondant cake in February of 2011. As I made cakes I posted them on my Facebook. Soon I had friends asking if I could make them a cake. I had so many requests that I decided to start She Makes Cakes March 13, 2011. We make our cakes and icing 100% from scratch. Attached is an example of one of my cakes.
