"I had just started my new job and wouldn't be home from work until 5pm. I was planning on baking a chicken and because I wouldn't be home until supper time I asked my boyfriend to put the chicken in the over for me about an hour priror to my arrival. I told him that I would finish the chicken, adding a mustard rub to the skin once I arrived home. Well, Rene picked me up from work and said he did in fact have the chicken in the over, baking for about an hour. I got home and basted the chicken serveral times over the next hour or so, fixed the vegetables, set the table, and proceeded to cut the yummy looking bird. I began to cut into the breast and found there was little meat...I was stunned as it was quite a large chicken. I continued to poke and prod at it and finally called my mother to tell her of this odd experience. I mean I had this lovely looking chicken with this crispy skin and there was something wrong with it. I called to my boyfriend to come in to see what was supposed to be our supper. While waiting for him to come in from the shed I began to again search for some meat on this bird. I found some lovely looking white meat near the bottom of the bird. Strange I thought, but then I found more. It was then that I began to laugh!! Rene, God bless his heart for starting supper for us...in his hurry I guess or just being a 'guy' he had put the bird in upside down!! I suppose I was just as silly for not realizing what was going on sooner. Its lovely to have a silly little story to tell about his cooking experience!!- king experience!!"   Submitted By: NULL
