Henry Uriah Gregory and Bride Hollender Butt on March 1938. Their wedding photo was taken on a windy day in Winterton, Trinity Bay. They moved to Howley, NL, where my dad, Harry, as he was known, worked in the woods and on the drive in the spring. When I was 3 yrs old, the 2nd oldest, we moved to Heatherton, NL, where my Mom's father gave our family a block of land where my Dad built our home. Dad worked in several places for Bowaters at Stag Hill, South Brook etc. The last place was Camp 45 at River Brook. My Dad passed away from stomach cancer in June 1953, at 47 years old. He is laid to rest at the cemetery in Heatherton. Mom moved to Nova Scotia in 1959, where she worked at Stanfields for 50 cents an hour. She moved to Toronto in the 60s. She passed away on December 1999 at 87 years old. Her name was Bride, and she often said, "I'm a widow, but I'll always be a Bride."   Submitted By: NULL
