We need your help in trying to identify our "Water Nipper." The photo was dated 1941, and our efforts to identify the young fellow have so far been unsuccessful. Our hope is to recreate this photo in a 10-foot by 20-foot mural and it would be helpful to know more about this young man. We've taken a close look at this photo and are uncertain as to whether his left arm has been amputated or not. Incidentally the photo was reproduced for the 2010 Botwood Come Home Year calendar (June 2010). We feel that your readership is our best shot at learning more about our Water Nipper.
